Meet Dr. Aldred
Dr. Matthew Aldred was born in Charlottesville, Virginia. He earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Virginia and attended dental school at VCU School of Dentistry, serving as a teaching assistant his senior year. He was presented with the award for High Achievement in Caring for Persons with Disabilities from the Special Care Dentistry Association. After earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery, he completed two years of general practice residency at UVA Hospital, where he learned many advanced techniques such as dental implant placement and IV sedation. Dr. Aldred is also a husband, and father to two beautiful girls. When not practicing dentistry, he spends time with his family enjoying the James River park system, visiting the Chesapeake Bay, and grilling outdoors.
