Meet Dr. Aldred
Dr. Aldred was born and raised in Charlottesville, Virginia. He earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Virginia and attended dental school at VCU School of Dentistry. After earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery, he completed two years of general practice residency at the University of Virginia Hospital, treating special needs patients and medically complicated patients. As a senior dental student at VCU, he was presented with the award for High Achievement in Caring for Persons with Disabilities from the Special Care Dentistry Association. Dr. Aldred continues to serve the special needs community by volunteering as a dentist and supervising senior dental students at the Virginia Home each month. He also treats these wonderful patients and their families in his office. Dr. Aldred is also a husband and father to two beautiful girls. When not practicing dentistry, he spends time with his family, enjoying the natural beauty of Virginia, visiting the Chesapeake Bay and other prime fishing locations. Dr. Aldred also loves to cook and prepare homemade meals for his family and friends.

Megan DeArmond-Solomon BSDH, RDH
Megan has called Richmond home for most of her life. She graduated from Douglas Freeman High School & then went on to finish her bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from Old Dominion University in 2010. Megan has been with Aldred Family Dentistry shortly after Dr Aldred opened the office in 2015. As a hygienist, she loves making her patients feel safe & comfortable, while helping them to better understand the oral systemic connection between their mouth & their overall health. In her spare time, you can find Megan watching her two boys - Landon & Keagan, playing sports, cooking, working out or spending time with her family & friends.
Laura Roberson BSDH, RDH
Laura grew up in Montpelier, Virginia, and has been part of the Aldred Family Dentistry team since 2017. She graduated from Patrick Henry High School prior to completing her bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from Old Dominion University in 2022. Laura enjoys getting to know her patients and loves educating them about their oral health so that they feel comfortable and confident! Outside of work, Laura enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her two fur babies, Willow and Dexter. She also loves riding horses, spending time outdoors, and frequently plays music and sings.
